Reading+Kindle+Car=OVER THE MOON
I love to read. I also love to travel, by car. But all my life I’ve not been able to read in the car, I get nauseous. About 18 months ago I bought a Kindle. Then we went on an overnight trip, so I brought my Kindle (have I mentioned I love my Kindle?). The hubby was driving so I got out my Kindle just to see if I could, at all, even possibly, for just a little while, read while a passenger. Guess what? I CAN READ MY KINDLE IN THE CAR WITHOUT GETTING SICK!!!!
I was over the moon! Imagine — now I can combine 2 of the things I love, reading AND traveling. Turns out to be a good fit. Hubby and I used to trade off driving since we both like to drive and I would get bored just sitting there, and a girl can only nap so much. Well now I’m more than happy to let him drive, while I spend hours in the passenger seat reading my Kindle. And I have done just that. On one trip I read for 8 hours straight, right into the dark of night, and it was FaBUlouS!
